6-8 year olds perceive the play and listen concept as a fun reward while reading and learning

Some content on the states could be more in depth, however our 6 year daughter and her 7 and 8 year buddies love these books. We have one on music also (found on clearance still in the wrapper in Central America for only $14). Getting to push numbers and listen to excerpts about the reading material is a big hit with the children, who perceive it as a reward while they are learning. Its a fun concept to motivate children to engage in reading and social studies. I'd like to get the version on health as well. $24 is the maximum that should be paid for the book, rather than the 30+ its been shown for on Amazon. Some educational sites do carry the books as well, so shop around.
