Arwrology Is A Death Trap of Which The Student Becomes the Master!

Arwrology, originally published by Dr. Gordon E. Perrigard in 1943, is a scientific method of all-out hand-to-hand fighting. Like many of the fighting techniques and systems developed around WWII, Arwrology is a fairly simple system to learn yet contains very effective techniques. Studying Arwrology or any type of military combatives is not for the `dojo martial artist', but for the person who is interested in learning the deadly techniques needed for close combat in war. Nearly all of the techniques of Arwrology reinforce each other so that if one technique happens to fail, another is there to quickly follow up.
Arwrology contains: Psycho-physical calisthenics and hardening exercises, Attack methods, techniques Against a Gun, The Dagger, and defensive techniques. You will learn techniques like the DURA (Duck Under the Right Arm) Throw, the Neck Rope Throw, the Posterior Arwr Lock and the Carotid Artery Arwr Lock. You will study the design of the Arwr Dagger, a double edged dagger, tapering to a needle point and balanced for throwing, and you will learn to use it in combat.
All this and more is contained in Arwrology. The book contains simplified drawings and old photographs (circa 1943) as well as detailed text describing the techniques of Arwrology. Arwrology is a great book for any student of military combatives as well for the martial artist interested in learning combative techniques.

Arwrology by Gordon eric perrigard contains very effective techniques except for the dura throw which is a bit too complicated. I' am interested in subjects like these. This book contains striking techniques and physical calisthenics and hardening exercises and weapon defences. Overall, a good and interesting book to have. I have several books about hand to hand fighting and this is my favourite. But these techniques are dangerous and should only be applied in life threatening situations. I particularly like thr arwr locks. Great book

I had bought the other version from Bob Kasper and after reading it had to purchase this edition from Perrigard. This edition was from the earlier days of Arwrology. I'm sure I will enjoy this edition as well. This will be a great collection at least from the historical perspective. To me it is amazing how these individuals in spite of their background on traditional Japanese systems still were looking for simpler skills to teach and drill on. I recommend this edition for those interested in reading more on this subject.
