Great Textbook

I am a credentialed school social worker who has to return to school to get a school counseling credential to keep her job. That kind of makes me grumpy because it pretty much means I have to get another masters degree and those are pretty expensive these days. Plus, my school social work credential program covered most of the material already so it is a review... EXCEPT for this one textbook! This one book is the one that I will keep after the program is complete. It is the missing material that bridges the two credentials for me. While I don't like the high price of college textbooks, this is the only one thus far that I can consider worth the price. It arrived on time from this seller and was packaged well.

ASCA based, very comprehensive, a keeper!

1) Excellent price. I rarely buy from the college bookstore. I either rent or buy elsewhere. 2)Author, Gybers is a leader in the field of school counseling. 3) Very comprehensive information on running an effective school counseling program, based on the ASCA National Model. 4) It's a keeper. I often sell textbooks back, but this one is worth keeping on the shelf.

Professor Malcolm McDonald enjoys a global reputation as a leading authority on marketing. Emeritus Professor at Cranfield University, he is also Chairman of six companies and works with the operating boards of some of the world’s leading multinationals. Informed guide on how to make marketing accountable

Forget the past; marketing managers are now accountable for the financial and sales results they achieve with the money they spend. They can claim - with the backing of some marketing professors - that too many factors in the sales and marketing orbit are out of their control: the economy, fickle consumers, onerous competition, balky delivery problems, murky customer service, and so on. True, all of these real-life happenstances can undermine clever ads and promotions. Even so, corporate executives are no longer willing to give marketing a pass on accountability. Professor Malcolm McDonald and marketing measurement expert Peter Mouncey offer a useful solution: a layered evaluation system that firms can apply to align their marketing activities with their strategies and financial results. The authors provide metrics and tactics marketers can rely on to substantiate the impact of their work. This book is generally vague and full of nonsense. It seems like it was written by a high-level consultant for a very limited audience. Top level marketing managers who want to feel-good, rather than actually accomplishing measurable results. I would have been better off reading a book about direct mail marketing that includes methods of measuring activities.

Just not that exciting

I'm a long time Guhrke fan & I completely agree with the other reviewers who commented on just how blah & boring this story is. I found both Denys & Lola uninspired main characters. I didn't really buy in to their "grand passion," we were told about it, but it never felt real. More than anything I wasn't really convinced Lola really cared about Denys or knew what she wanted. I kept hearing that she loved him, but I never really felt like she did. I felt like a book of their first time together when they were younger would have been a far more interesting read! I usually like the "second chance in love" theme for romances, but this one just didn't quite work, I wasn't invested in the characters, they didn't feel fully fleshed out & I couldn't understand why they fell back in love. Guhrke's "The Marriage Bed" is one of my favorites, and while the story lines aren't that similar, falling-back-in-love was done so much better in it than this one.

Unfortunate ending...

I like second chance stories and Ms. Guhrke has written some great ones. This wasn't great, it was pretty good.....most of the way.

Denys and Lola were likable, their romance reignited and the story moved along. It wasn't a world beater, still I enjoyed it.....until the ending. The ending was an amateur production if ever I saw one. And the proposal! Reminded me of the cutesy proposals shown on the big screen at baseball games. The overall ending plus the proposal left me flat as a flitter.

With a professionally written ending, the novel would have earned 3.5 stars. As it is, nah, can't do it. The ending ruined the story for me.

This book had moments in which it actually read like a 3-star book but they were few and far between. The ending was very far-fetched and therefore not believable. And love is not enough.

Fantastic Read!!!!

This was an amazing story. It starts with the main character Brian, getting caught while cross-dressing by a student of his. He is a professor and it's summertime. This student had come to see him because she thought his grading was sexist. When she catches him, she takes charge and humiliates him repeatedly. She also calls over several other female students to add to the humiliation. She then leaves him to be found by his wife.

What I loved about this story was the first part is totally about erotic humiliation. It shows this guy learning an ironic lesson in how to treat people and it does so in an incredibly sexy way. There are so many images from that part that stuck in my mind after reading this - ring-toss? LOL! But then the story changes after the wife returns. At first, she gets a little vindication for his sexism, but then it becomes clear the two love each other and the relationship ends up fitting them both better. I'm the end, this is an extremely well-written story on both erotic humiliation and of a love between a husband and wife. I highly recommend this and plan to read more from Ms. Dixon!

Sexist College Professor Becomes a Feminized Plaything, First For His Students and Then For His Wife

This is the story of Brian, a sexist college professor with a secret life that he hides from his wife and the world.

Brian likes to dress in his wife's clothes. He likes to prance around the house in panties and heels and dresses when he's alone. Everything was wonderful until, suddenly, he wasn't alone anymore.

Startled by a sharp sound from the sliding glass door, Brian looks up to see one of his students, Anna, holding her phone and taking pictures. She's smiling broadly. He'd been masturbating on the couch, with his dress pulled up and his panties down, his painted fingernails wrapped around his cock. His life was about to change.

Anna and a number of her friends decide to teach the professor a lesson. They force him to realize that he has graded the women in his class more harshly than the men because he is sexist (and possibly a jealous sissy). They humiliate him, and force him to change their grades, and the grades of all of the women in his class. They make it clear that own him.

They also leave him in a very compromising position for his wife Holly to find, which leads to drastic changes in his marriage. He'll no longer be controlling that relationship, either.

This story is filled with a lot of great, humiliating moments. The scenes with Holly also have a sweet, romantic tone to them, even when she's forcing her sissy to drink his own cum.

This is an imaginative tale that is definitely worth a read.

Fun yet very familiar fantasy

I just discovered this genre and this was my very first read on female domination, forced feminization and erotic humiliation. I am very familiar with these fantasy themes and enjoyed the way in which the author described them. Getting caught and then finding yourself dressed up and being humiliated by several women probably appeals to most cross-dressers. The plot and specific details made for an enjoyable and fun read. I could easily identify with Brian's cross-dressing routine and motivations (though not his underlying sexist and chauvinistic attitudes).

I am giving 3 stars for a few reasons: (1) its the first book of this genre that I have read and (2) it did not strike me as exceptionally innovative or original. Perhaps there is not a lot of room for innovation or originality here. Aside from the ring-toss that another reviewer mentioned, there wasn't much that was exceptionally memorable.
